I don't know if the news has made it across the big pond or not - but Saturday night my beloved Cats kicked hell out of the No. 1 LSU Tigers in an epic football game the likes of which had never before been witnessed in the friendly confines of Commonwealth Stadium. It was glorius to behold.
To heck with Rommney and Guiliani -Rich Brooks for President!!!! And, Joker Phillips for Vice-President.
Had we not frittered away the South Carolina game, the Cats would be No. 1 in the nation this morning.
I believe it was Kipling who said, "Of all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest by far, 'What might have been!'"

I saw some of the game, and I have to admit that the Cats are looking strong. I don't know about the #1 talk, but they are looking good. Much better than my beloved Cardinals.
